Congress is considering health care reform legislation that would make substantive changes to the current health care system in the United States. Vision and eye health must be part of that reform!
Join Prevent Blindness Northern California for President's Day Congressional Visits. We need you to visit your local representatives to improve eye health services and resources for the people that need it the most. We must fill the gaps in vision health services in California now! Prevent Blindness Northern California asks for your support and advocacy to improve vision health services by becoming an advocate. We need your voice and your stories to help make eye health and safety a state and national priority. Our elected officials need to hear your story!
In honor of the President's Day holiday on February 15, we are asking advocates across the state to make visits to the Congressional District offices that week. Prevent Blindness Northern California will provide you with a meeting request letter, tips for making a Congressional visit and talking points for this meeting so you can advocate for eye and vision health.
